With a diverse history as an antique dealer, interior decorator, and stained glass artist, Jenny Ratcliffe has established a broad background in color, texture and light. Always intrigued by Victorian Era art and design, inspiration comes from unexpected sources such as Victorian tea cozies, vintage fashion, antique furniture design, and stained glass. Driven by the desire to create and always looking for the freedom to explore new ideas, Jenny founded Hidden Treasures over ten years ago as a place to create and experiment with new ideas and express her passion for artisan jewelry and one-of-a-kind beadwork. Jenny is deeply inspired by tapestries, needlepoint, and beaded items of the Victorian Era for their hand made quality, subtle colors, fine detail and craftsmanship. You will find these inspirations expressed in her jewelry and her beadwork
in unexpected ways. |

The Creative Process
For Jenny, inspiration comes from all angles and at all times: a look out of a stained-glass window can be transformed into a panoramic design on a beaded evening bag. Always looking for new ideas and new ways to be inspired, Jenny attends workshops, seminars, and shows looking for new ways to create and be inspired. This passion for unique ideas translates into an ever-expanding catalog of artisan jewelry and truly one-of-a-kind gallery pieces, not seen anywhere else. Come back often to see what Jenny has been inspired to create recently. |
